اعلنت فورد وفريق SVT ( Special Vehicle Team) وهو فريق فورد الخاص بتطوير سيارات فورد ذات اداء عالي وشيلبي Shelby American باطلاق واعلان مواصفات 2011 فورد شيلبي موستنج GT500 .

المواصفات

* محرك 8 سلندر بقالب المنيوم ( all-new aluminum-block ) جديد وسعته 5.4 لتر مع سوبر شارج supercharged ويولد 550 حصان ( 10 احصنه اضافيه عن موديل 2010) وعزم 510 رطل .

* اصبح وزن السياره اخف ب 102 رطل ( 46 كيلو ) عن موديل 2010 بسبب قالب المحرك الالمنيوم الجديد المستوحى من السياره الاسطوريه فورد GT.

* تم تقليل صرفية الاستهلاك بالوقود من موديل 2010 من 14 ميل لكل جالون داخل المدينه ( 20.2 لتر لكل 100 كيلو ) و 22 ميل لكل جالون في الطرق السريعه ( 12.8 لكل 100 كيلو ) الى 15 ميل لكل جالون داخل المدينه ( 18.8 لتر لكل 100 كيلو ) و 23 ميل لكل جالون في الطرق السريعه ( 12.3 لكل 100 كيلو ) للموديل 2011 .

* اصبحت اسرع ب 3 ثواني من موديل 2010 .

* تم تحسين نظام مانع الانزلاق AdvanceTrac®, Ford’s stability control system .

* اضافة فئه او باكيج SVT Performance Package وهي خاصه للحلبات السباقات مع تعديلات في نظام التعليق مع كفرات Goodyear Eagle® F1 SuperCar G: 2 وهي مصممه من قبل فريق فورد SVT مع جوديير Goodyear مع جنوط اخف مع بعض اللمسات الخارجيه الخاصه وكارونه بنسب اعلى مع نظام Electric Power Assist Steering الذي يعتمد على دقه عاليه في التوجيه والتحكم والاحساس بالثبات على الطريق .

* تم تنزيل السياره ب 11 مليميتر في مقدمة السياره و 8 مليميتر في موخرة السياره لليعطي شكل رياضيا واداء مع تحكم عالي .

* تم زيادة العزل الداخلي للمقصوره وتقليل الازعاج الخارجي بنسبة 20 % مقارنه بموديل 2010 .

* تم تعديل وتحسين هيلكي للموديل الكشف للتجعلها اكثر رياضيه واداء مع ثبات عالي مثل الموديل العادي بسقف ثابت .

* جنوط 19 ” انش من الالمنيوم اساسيه .

* سقف بانوراما زجاجي glass roof .

* مصابيح زينون HID (high-intensity discharge) headlamps اماميه اساسيه .

* نظام مفتاحي MyKey للبرمجة سرعة السياره والمسجل عند اعطاء السياره للشخص اخر .

* تكايات راس خلفيه قابله للطي .
