تحدي ال 1000 دوره للفورد موستنج V6 صمم للتوضيح واثبات ان اي 2011 فورد موستنج V6 من فورد (Stock ) قادره على تحقيق 1000 دوره و 533 ميل ( 857 كيلو ) بخزان وقود واحد . مع قياده بطريقه فعاله في اقتصاد الوقود من قبل مهندسين فورد حققت 2011 فورد موستنج V6 اكثر من 1000 دوره .

قال ديفيد باتريك رئيس مهندسين الفورد موستنج Dave Pericak, Mustang chief engineer ” مشاهدة الفورد موستنج V6 تحقق معدل استهلاك 48.5 ميل للكل جالون ( 4.8 لتر للكل 100 كيلو ) في حلبة بريتسل للسباقات Bristol Motor Speedway انه شي اكثر من رائع ” وقال ايضا ” ان المحرك الجديد 3.7 لتر مع ناقل حركه اتوماتيكي متطور مكون من 6 سرعات هما العنصران الاساسيان في تحقيق اقتصاديه عاليه في استهلاك الوقود مع اداء قوي للفورد موستنج ” .
فورد ملتزمه على ان تصبح الرائده في اي فئه تنافس بها وذلك من خلال الفورد موستنج التي تعتبر الافضل في فئتها من احية الاقتصاديه في استهلاك الوقود وسيارات فورد الاخرى الرائده في الاقتصاديه في استهلاك الوقود مثل الفورد فييستا Fiesta و الفورد فيوجن الهجينهى Hybrid و لنكن MKZ الهجينه Hybrid التي تعتبر اكثر سياره اقتصاديه في فئة السيارات الفخمه .

فريق تحدي ال 1000 دوره مكون من سائق سباقات الناسكار Nascar ديفيد راجين David Ragan و 4 من فريق مهندسين الفورد موستنج اكملوا التحدي في 17 ساعه و 40 دقيقه . محققين معدل استهلاك 48.5 ميل للكل جالون ( 4.8 لتر للكل 100 كيلو ) وقطعوا 776.5 ميل ( 1249 كيلو ) وهو مايعادل حدثين من بطولة الناسكار على كأس سبرنت على نفس الحلبه كل عام .
قام ديفيد راجين David Ragan بأكمال 1000 دوره خلال 12 ساعه و 26 دقيقه اي في الساعه 7:42 مساء . مهندس الفورد موستنج سيونج بارك Seong Park هو اخر السائقين قبل توقف السياره واكمال 17 ساعه و 40 دقيقه في الساعه 12:41 صباحا .
قال ديفيد راجين David Ragan ايضا ” عندما تخطيت حاجز ال 1000 دوره كان الوقود المتبقي يصل الى ربع 1/4 تانكي من الوقود “وقال ايضا ” عند تخطي حاجز ال 1000 دوره كان معدل استهلاكي يصل الى 43.7 ميل للكل جالون ( 5.3 لتر للكل 100 كيلو ) وهذا يعتبر مثير للدهشه ” وقال ايضا ” مبروك للكل من فريق الفورد موستنج وفورد لان 2011 فورد موستنج V6 تعتبر مميزه ” .

قام فريق مهندسين فورد بقيادة ال 2011 فورد موستنج V6 بطريقه فعاله تساعد عل تحقيق كفائه عاليه في استهلاك الوقود مثل التقليل من استهلاك جهاز التكييف والقياده بسرعه ثابته وعدم التوقف والتحرك بشكل مفاجئ . علما ان 2011 فورد موستنج V6 تستخدم محرك 3.7 لتر بقوة 305 حصان جديد كليا مصنوع من المنيوم خفيف مع استخدام هندسه حديثه للتحقيق كفائه عاليه في استهلاك الوقود مع اداء قوي . 2011 فورد موستنج V6 المستخدمه في التحدي هي سياره لم يتم تعديل عليها اي تعديل Stock ويمكنك شرائها من اي وكيل فورد .
قال توم بارنز Tom Barnes المهندس الرئيسي للتحدي ال 1000 دوره ” كان هناك اناس كثيرين عملوا الكثير للتجهيز هذا الحدث و 2011 فورد موستنج V6 وقطع 1000 دوره بكل نجاح ” وقال ايضا ” من الرائع عندما اكمل ديفيد الدوره رقم 1000 ولكن لم يتصور احدا ان التحدي لم يتنه بعد اكمال ال 1000 دوره بل عليهم ان يقودوا للمدة 5 ساعات اخرى ” وقال ايضا ” هذا شعور رائع ويوضح مدى امتياز وتفوق الفورد موستنج V6 ” .
