التخلص وازالة تسرب الهواء يبدأ من فحص التصميم خلال مرحلة تصميمه الافتراضيه على الكمبيوتر ومن ثم فحصه بشكل ملموس عند بناء جسم للسياره . يقوم المهندسون بأغلاق جسم السياره بعد صبغه ومن ثم وضع غطاء بلاستيكي على الفتحات . بعد ذلك بأستخدام جهاز تسرب الهواء يقوم المهندسون بضغط المقصوره الداخليه . من داخل المقصوره الداخليه يقوم المهندسون بالزحف في جميع نواحي المقصوره مستخدمين معدات مثل السماعات الطبيه و كاميرات صغيره موصله باسلاك للفحص الاجزاء التي يصعب الوصول اليها .
قام فريق المهندسين بتصميم سلاح جديد مبتكر من ترسانته للتصدى للتسرب الهواء . السلاح هو كاميرا حراريه مع نافث للهواء حار لليسمح للمهندسين بمعرفة مصدر تسرب الهواء .
قال جيسين جريفين JASON GRIFFIN ” بالعاده كنا نضيف هواء او نزيل الهواء من المقصوره الداخليه ومن ثم نقوم بالاستماع الى الهواء الداخل او الخارج من المقصوره وبذلك كنا نحدد مصدر التسرب ” وقال ايضا ” ولكن مؤخرا قمنا بأبتكار طريقه تمكننا من تسخين الهواء الداخل او الخارج من المقصوره ممايخولنا بأستعمال الكاميرا الحراريه للمعرفة مكان التسرب بطريقه فعاله ” وقال ايضا ” سوف نستعمل جميع مايمكن استعماله للتأكد من ان عزلنا المقصوره الداخليه بشكل فعال ” .
المهنسين يجرون اختبارت تسرب الهواء على السيارات في شكلها النهائي للتأكد من كفائة العزل وضمان قياده هادئه للمستهلكين .
