اطلقت لاندروفر مؤخرا في بمناسبة احتفالها بمرور 40 عاما على الرنج روفر Range Rover’s 40th birthday سياره من فئة الكروس افور CUV ذات الدفع الامامي تحت اسم لاندروفر ايفوك Land Rover Evoque .
اعلنت لاند روفر انها سوف تزود الاندروفر ايفوك Land Rover Evoque بمحرك 4 سلندر مشحون بمولد تيربو turbocharged لليكون اقتصاديا في استهلاك الوقود .
على حسب تقرير علمت به موقع ليفت لين Leftlane من مصادرها الخاصه علمت ان لاندروفر تقوم حاليا باختبار محرك فورد 2.0 لتر بتقنية الايكوبوست ECOBOOST وهو نفس محرك 2011 فورد ايدج Edge و 2011 فورد اكسبلورر Explorer .
وسوف تعلن لاندروفر Land Rover عن نوع المحرك الذي سوف تستخدمه قريبا .
الجدير بالذكر ان فورد حاليا تقوم بتصنيع ومن ثم بيع محركات الاندروفر Land Rover وجاكوار Jaguar الى شركة تاتا TATA الهنديه الى 2019 .
واشهر محرك يتم تصنيعه من قبل فورد وهو محرك 8 سلندر 5.0 لتر الذي يستخدم في :
* رنج روفر سبورت Range Rover Sport .
* رنج روفر Range Rover .
* جاكوار XFR .
* جاكوار XKR و XK .
* جاكوار XJ .
